How to set up two-factor-authentication with iPhone iOS 15
Data breaches are now daily occurrences and can happen to any business or individual. One of the most secure ways to protect your private data stored on the websites and services you use online is to enable two-factor-authentication. (2FA).

Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security designed to ensure that you are the only person who can access your account, even if someone knows your password.
With iOS 15, Apple can generate the codes instantly with its integrated authenticator eliminating the need for third-party apps such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy. Most importantly, it eradicates the use of less-secure SMS 2FA options to generate two Factor Authentication codes.
The new feature works seamlessly with native autofill on both iOS and Mac, so you can easily log into all your accounts with enhanced security measures.
Set up like a Pro: Here are our simple steps to get you set it up with two-factor-authentication code generator and autofill when running iOS 15 on your iPhone or iPad:
Head over to the Settings app.
Scroll down and select Passwords.
You will be asked to create a new login/ password or choose an existing one.
At the bottom of the page, select Set Up Verification Code.
You can either select Enter a Setup Key or Scan QR Code to complete the process.
To find the QR code to set up 2FA for any account, look in its service/website settings.
When you're all set up with 2FA through a website/service in iOS 15, you can view the constantly regenerating 6-digit codes in the Settings app > Passwords > choose a login.
Now, whenever you need to login and enter your 2FA code, iOS 15 will autofill it for you- no more checking in and out of authenticator apps or checking text messages to access your accounts.
